Scirocco MK1 in 3”

Old-skool waterwagens series

The VW Scirocco has been one of my favorites since high school.
In fact, I remember making a drawing of it on illustration board.
That wedge shape and sloping hatch is my teenage desire.
To top it all of, VW made some tasty ads showing how,
desirable and competitive this baby was. They made me lust for it!

On small scale, the 3” version is on the hard to find category.
It’s not an oft modeled in small scale as opposed to larger ones.
Delighted to have this version by Yatming of HongKong.

It’s old-skool in every sense of the word….

back in the old days when they make them loaded with charisma.

this was one of my dream cars when I was in College! I would like to have a white one with nice alloys someday,
congrats Erwin! I modded a Yatming also, but will find a better wheel for it.

That's nice to know Mike. I think we have a lot in common :-) even age I suppose, hehehe.
I wish we have one each, someday!
Let's have a fun run on these old-skool rides, that will be an awesome sight.
Send me a pic of your Scirocco, I would want it posted as well. Thanks
Erwin
